Hey Hoot Fam! Welcome to another post on the World of Ethan Channel Website!

We all know that day. It's the best day in a kid's life! but the worst day in an adult's life. These are the days when you get used to "Mommy! I want this!". The adults faint when they see the bill at the end.

So, I'll be your guardian angel and tell you some tips and tricks when going back to school-shopping!

Let's Start!

  • Buy the things that are needed, NOT the things that are wanted

I know, kids are kids. When they want something, they tell it to you and when you refuse it, they either tear the house upside down or give you the old 'Puppy Dog eyes'.

Start making a list of things that you want and STICK to it! That way, you only get the stuff you need rather than the stuff you want.

But, how do you stop those Puppy Dog eyes, I hear you ask?

  • Get Creative!

Stationery manufacturers nowadays have gotten creative with Stationery products. Some rulers are also snap bracelets! In my opinion, try to buy stuff that is also something else, like a pencil pouch that looks like a monster or something like that or a ruler that is also a snap bracelet.

  • Don't buy planners (If you or your child has a Chromebook or a mobile phone)

Planners are a great way to plan stuff, but they are sort of replaced now with apps like Google Calendar and Apple Calendar. These apps are available on a Chromebook (pre-installed) and a mobile phone (also pre-installed).

But, if you or your child doesn't have a Chromebook or a mobile phone, I'm sorry but you have to go the old-school way.

  • Use the same damn schoolbag every year!

This is a very common thing that kids do every year when they go back to school shopping! I mean, what even is wrong with the old-school bag?

Just mark my word and use the old school every year!

  • Don't buy all the school supplies all over again

This is also a thing that kids like to do! buying all the school supplies all over again is a HUGE waste of money!

- If notebooks have a lot of pages left, then continue using it

- Only buy pens if they have run out of ink

- Only buy erasers if you or your child doesn't have one or has lost it

- Reuse colored pencils and normal pencils

Well, Hoot Fam! That's it for this post!

Stay Safe, God Bless!
